We create jobs and drive growth in our communities
Dairies are economic engines. Studies show that every dollar we spend generates another $2.50 in local economic activity. A dairy with 1,000 cows has an economic impact of $13.7 million on its community each year. We’re more than part of the landscape; we’re part of the social and economic fabric. Milk doesn’t stay on the farm; where milk goes more jobs are created. Dairies like ours hire workers, purchase machinery, trucks, fuel and more from local companies, which generates jobs and income. Dairies create jobs for crop growers, veterinarians, insurance agents, accountants, bankers and others. We work to preserve our dairy and to ensure that our community prospers and our way of life continues for generations to come.
